Dominican Republic Entry Requirements in 2026

The DR uses an e-ticket system for all arriving and departing travelers — it replaces the old paper embarkation card and customs form. Most nationalities do not need a visa for stays up to 30 days, though your passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your travel dates. Customs limits include up to $500 USD in goods duty-free and strict rules on bringing in food, plants, and currency over $10,000.
