E-ticket required for all travelers

High impact

All travelers entering or departing the Dominican Republic must complete the digital e-ticket (formerly called "E-Ticket Migratorio"). This replaces the paper immigration, customs, and health card.

No tourist card fee for most nationalities

Medium impact

The $10 tourist card fee that was previously collected on arrival has been absorbed into the e-ticket system. Most nationalities no longer pay it separately.
